Anecdotal Record – SMAIT Nurul Fikri Depok

 1.    Name      : Anggoro Adikha Suwan
Class         : X.C
Date          : Tuesday, April 10th, 2012
During my observation, he was so quiet. He just paid attention on the teacher’s explanation. However, he never asked any question to the teacher, either he had understood the material or not. Sometimes he made a noisy by making a joke. On the Friday, I gave the posttest (8 questions). His score was 12,5 points only because he only answer 1 question. He did not complete the test, whether because of limited time or another reason. From his answer, I conclude that he had understood how to convert an angle from the radian into the degree.

2.      Name       : M. Fyza Ghaniya
Class        : X.C
Date          : Friday, April 13th, 2012
Since I observed him on Tuesday, he was so quiet. Sometimes, he talked with his chair-mate while the teacher explaining the material. During my teaching, he also was quiet. I forced him to solve the problem in front of the class, but he refused. He did not write his name on his posttest, and some of the students did the same, so I didn’t know which one was his work.

3.      Name       : Faris Hafizabian
Class        : X.C
Date          : Friday, April 13th, 2012
When I observed him on Tuesday, he was quiet. He paid attention on teacher’s explanation. When I taught him on Friday, he also paid attention on me. In the fact, he was quite active in answering the question. When I asked the class to solve the question in front of class, none raised the hand except him. He always wanted to come forward in front of the class to solve the question. I believed he was one of higher achiever students, in the fact his mid exam score was 7,33 (the top 9 of the class), and his posttest was 75 (the top 2 of the class). He had understood hoe to convert a point in Cartesian coordinate into Polar coordinate.

4.    Name       : Ayus Dio Bawono
Class        : X.A
Date          : Friday 13th, 2012.
While I was teaching on X.A, I also observed him. He got the highest point for mid exam, which was 8,67. I grouped him with some students who got lower points. When I gave instruction to work in group, he led his group in working. He paid attention on me during the class. He often asked if my explanation was unclear, so that he could understand what I meant. His posttest was 100, so I believed that he really respected me and learned nicely in my teaching. In my conclusion, he had understood how to convert an angle from the radian to the degree, and vice versa, also he had understood how to determine the value of trigonometry in the right triangle.

5.     Name       : Fiki Reza Imani
Class        : X.A
Date          : Friday
Since I asked him to come forward to solve the question, I started to observe him. He was answering the question correctly about converting the angle from radian to the degree. In his posttest, he answered the similar questions correctly. However, his answer for the comparison of trigonometry in the right triangle was incorrect, whereas he paid attention on me during the class. He never asked me to explain more about it, so I thought he had understood the material. So, in my conclusion he still didn’t understand to determine the value of Sinus, Cosine, and Tangent in a right triangle.
