MMSEL course was Independent Study. The groups like the 3rd and the
4th meeting should discuss a topic, and then make an ICT-based
presentation, upload it into the moodle, and then each student had to comment
on others group products.
My group should discuss about “Communicating Effectively with Parents and Intervening
when Misbehaviour Occurs”. There was no resource provided in the moodle, so we
should find the information and the material by ourselves. I think it’s good to
find the resources by ourselves rather than focus on the resources provided
because our mind was not limited, so we can determine what information that we
would present.
At that time, my group only divided
the materials to each member, so that everyone has a responsibility to master
his/her content. Next, we discussed about what ICT-based Presentation would be
use. We chose Adobe Presenter because we think it’s easy to insert voices and
videos rather than PPT. Moreover, we discussed about making a video rather than
just make a presentation.
We recorded the video a week
after. At that time, some members could not come to join the discussion because
of some reasons; illness and joining another event in out of Jakarta, so only a
few of us created the video and combined the presentation.
